It’s less about a doubt in talent or skill, and more about succumbing to “there’s no way I can pull this off with everything I’ve got going on around (and inside) me.”

No matter what, it seems there will always be critics. Just as there will always be enthsiasts. I guess just as well Anne Rice ignored the critics.
