Found Art Friday Too: Alan Moore illustrated by Frank Quitely

Found this over on Rich Johnston’s Bleeding Cool blogsite. A portrait of legendary, award-winning, bestselling graphic novelist Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen), as illustrated by award-winning, bestselling artist Frank Quitely (All-Star Superman, WE3, New X-Men).

Found Art Friday: Zealot by Jim Lee

This week’s Found Art Friday continues the comic book theme of last week’s with a quickie sketch of Zealot (of WildCats fame) by her creator Jim Lee on the cintiq, which he tweeted last night on Twitter. Jim Lee is hands down my favorite comic book creator because of his immense talent and skill in character creation/design, draftsmanship and storytelling, ever since he started drawing the X-Men for Marvel Comics in 1989, and most especially during his WildStorm years in the 90s, which yielded this great character:

Found Art Friday: Vector art by Ratscape

Keeping with this week’s comic book theme, I stumbled across this stunningly beautiful piece of vector art featuring two of my most beloved characters, Cloak and Dagger  (Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen) by Ratscape over at DeviantArt.


Denzel Washington is in there for sure, and I think that’s Hayden Pannettiere of Heroes fame.
