Great tips although I always worry about the security of such apps, for instance, those in which you store your drafts, ideas, etc.

Pamela — I understand, I think we all have that general concern. The two I’m most interested in, Draft and Evernote (which I’ve downloaded) have promising Privacy and Security statements.
