This is a rant that’s been a long time coming.
I wish I could turn on Animal Planet to actually watch animals shows and shows that are primarily about animals at any point in the day or night. Kind of how in 1983 you could turn on MTV to hear and see music. But in order for that to happen on Animal Planet, they would have to move 95% of their show programming to another channel because of all the reality shows they have that focus prominently on people.
They would also need to scrap their irksome motto: “Surprisingly Human.”
Yeah, it’s surprisingly human because the channel’s name is ANIMAL PLANET!!!
